Jeffrey J. Visco, MD, is a 1998-graduate of Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences/University at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY. His postgraduate training includes both his general surgery residency and his colorectal surgery fellowship served at the same educational venue (1998-2003, respectively 2003-2004). During his residency, Dr. Visco received the Dr. Joseph Dziob Award – Chief Resident Award for Trauma Management, the Dr. Theodore Jewett Jr. Award – Resident Award for Pediatric Surgery, as well as the House Staff Excellence in Teaching Award – Resident Award for Surgical Teaching. Dr. Visco completed his undergraduate education – Bachelor of Arts degree – at the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell University in 1994.
